Hi, we’re Brooke + Chris 👋

The idea started with the birth of our first son. We were incredibly lucky to have so many family members and friends excitedly waiting for updates — but during labor, keeping everyone in the loop meant a whole lot of texts, group chats, and “any updates?” messages.

So when our second son was due in March 2026, we decided to try something different.

Brooke had a creative vision. Chris had the technical know-how. Together, we built a simple page where our family and friends could follow along with updates without us having to send the same text over and over again.

We made it just for us. But then people loved it.

Our family and friends were obsessed. Friends started asking if they could use it when they had a baby. Even our nurses wanted the link so they could check for updates.

That was our wait… are we onto something? moment.

What started as a fun solution for our own family quickly became something we knew other parents could enjoy — and maybe feel a little relief from, too. So we kept building, turning our little idea into something families everywhere could use for their own big moment.

And Howdy Baby was born. 👋
